My Sunday nights are now dedicated to visiting night market. Here is my trip to Paramount Garden’s night market. Located next to Giant, I suggest you to go there early to avoid fighting for a parking space unless you don’t mind to pay a few ringgit to park in Giant. There seemed to be quite a crowd at this night market.

I didn’t really look at the items for sale such as the clothes but I went straight for the food. There are quite a number of fruit stalls and I am impressed because the variety of fruits sold is as good as the morning markets. In addition, the fruits are sold at a much cheaper price. For instance, 1 kilogram of Langsat at RM4 and the usual market price is RM7. Now that is a good bargain.

Next, you don’t have to travel all the way to Kajang to get some satay. There are many stalls that sold satay but one in particular caught my attention.

This is what I call guaranteed hot and smoking delicious. It was even fanned with a genuine straw fan. Moving on, there were also lots of other stalls selling cakes and pastries but there was one stall that had a bakery concept and you can even see the oven they used to bake the goods.

Besides, the price is ranged from RM1 to at most RM 3 for each bun. Not bad I would say compared to other bakeries and the quality is just about the same. Last but not least, snacks and tid-bits when you want to watch football or just to have a little munch. There are stalls selling all sorts of nuts, dried fruits and other kinds of snacks. However, I highly recommend the peanuts that are usually served with nasi lemak.

My ratings for this night market would be around 8 upon 10 because the variation of goods sold is very good but the limited parking space is just a hassle. Don’t know where to go on Sunday nights? Visit this night market at Paramount Garden, located next to Giant.
